Framed to 14″ x 17″ using museum conservation standards.

Artwork is floated on off-white rag board and matted with an 8 ply white rag mat. Wood frame and UV protective glass.

While traveling through Mexico, Raphael toured the printmaking city of Oaxaca and was inspired not only by the beauty of the area, but by the native artists and their depictions of sacred animals. Coming home with a new insight and fresh perspective, Raphael sought to portray native wildlife in a reverent manner with his own unique style. Using the Drypoint Engraving technique he created a series of works for a first edition suite.

Each print is hand colored, signed and numbered by the artist.
