Unique, original images of stark linear forms hover above a background of vibrate blocks of color. This twisting of urban "Street Art" into classical form that can only be interpreted through the eyes of Raphael.
Strong, determined, and vibrant is what the "California Republic Bear" represents, and showcases in a true Raphael Delgado fashion. The grizzly is Raphael’s interpretation of the California State flag, and the colors reflect the Golden State with bright yellow, orange, and red hues. The California Republic Bear is a mural that overlooks the City of Sacramento as a dominant piece in the 2017 Wide Open Walls Mural Festival. The festival featured 40 artists, and represents the pulsating art scene in the region.
